• What is the difference between STEAM academies and traditional classrooms?

STEAM academies give students a hands-on approach to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Students will receive all the required knowledge and skills as required by the state,  but  will have their academy focus as the context for learning.

    How do I apply?

    When can I apply?

The application deadline for the 2018-19 school year is Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018.

When are the parent information sessions?

Parents must attend a mandatory information session for each academy their student is interested in pursuing.

If my student is interested in both academies, do I submit two applications?

No, only one application is required; note your first and second choice.

What if my child is not selected?
Students who meet the established criteria and are not selected will be placed on a waitlist for the 2018-2019  school year.

If my child currently attends Coleman or Permenter, do we still need to apply?

Will academy students follow the same schedule as traditional students?
