Incoming sixth and seventh graders have the opportunity to participate in an interactive learning environment for middle school students. Instruction at the Environmental Science & Engineering Academy at Bessie Coleman MS will include hands-on activities and will combine physical, biological and computer science into their core classes through field experiences, competitions, and real-world problem-solving. Only 100 students (fifty-6th graders and fifty -7th graders) will be accepted. All applicants must attend a parent meeting, meet specific criteria, and participate in an interview process.
Thursday, February 9 (6 p.m.) No parents will be admitted after 6:15 PM.
Monday, February 13 (6 p.m.) No parents will be admitted after 6:15 PM.
Friday, February 17 (6 p.m.) No parents will be admitted after 6:15 PM.
Tuesday, February 21 (6 p.m.) No parents will be admitted after 6:15 PM.
Saturday, February 25 (11 a.m.) No parents will be admitted after 11:15 AM.
